Investing in Local Young Entrepreneurs

The Young Entrepreneurs Academy, also called YEA!, is an innovative program in Southeast Ohio that works with students ages 11-18 to help instill an entrepreneurial spirit. These students work with the facilitators to create and own a fully functioning business that can continue to operate after the program ends. Ohio University Center for Entrepreneurship just donated $5,000 to this year long program that helps to get students thinking about all of the future possibilities for them. As they say, they want students to learn “how to make a job, not just take a job.” Read the full article here to learn about this great program.
