Nancy Gerstman, co-founder and co-director of Zeitgeist Films

The Center for Entrepreneurship, in collaboration with the College of Fine Art’s Division of Film, would like to invite you to a special breakfast focused on women in business featuring, Nancy Gerstman of Zeitgeist Films. The event is being held to discuss entrepreneurial women, and in her specific case, women in the business of Film Distribution.

The breakfast will be on Wednesday, March 26th from 8:30am-10:00am in Baker University Center 235.

Nancy Gerstman of Zeitgeist Films will be premiering “Child’s Pose,” the top prize winner at the Berlin Film Festival and Romanian entry for Best Foreign Film for the Academy Awards this year. The film will be playing at the Athena at 7pm on Tuesday, March 25th and we highly encourage you to attend.

About Nancy

Nancy Gerstman is co-president and co-founder of Zeitgeist Films. She has worked in all aspects of film distribution and exhibition including a stint at Landmark Theatre Corp., the largest independent theatre chain in the US.  She is in demand as a juror, panelist and commentator on issues related to independent and foreign language film and is Permanent Artist-in-Residence in the Master’s Program in Media and Communication Arts at CCNY. She was born in Queens, New York. Zeitgeist Films is a New York-based distribution company founded in 1988 which acquires and distributes the finest independent films from the U.S. and around the world.
